30 Aug Why You Should Be Using Natural Skincare (Where Possible)
Our skin is the largest organ of our entire body, and like other organs, it works to absorb essential minerals and nutrients into the body. That being said, up to 60% of what we put on our skin ends up being absorbed in the body! Most of us wash our bodies, moisturise and apply other skincare products (like make-up) every morning and every night. If the products we’re using are made from harmful artificial ingredients, thats a lot of toxic waste that’s entering the body. This puts an unnecessary burden on our body’s natural detoxification process and overall immune system.
We’re doing a Spring Clean of our beauty cupboard to replace products with harmful chemicals and replacing them with natural brands. We like to think if you can’t eat it, you shouldn’t be putting it on your skin.
