5 Reasons to Welcome Autumn with a Juice Cleanse



Hello Autumn. Say what?! Summer basically just started here in Melbourne and now it’s April? April?! How?! I don’t think I am going out on a limb here by declaring, I’m not ready! Unlike my buddy… ex-winter Olympian, snow bunny babe, Steph Prem… Summer is my favourite time of the year and it always feels so fleeting here in Melbourne. One question I get asked a lot is, “How often do you cleanse?”. One of my key rules is to cleanse for at least 3 days at the beginning of each season (I personally cleanse for 5 – 10 days at the start of each season). This ritual means that I am cleansing at least once every quarter over the course of the year, but more importantly, I am giving my body the opportunity to stop, reset and adjust to the energy of each new season, which keeps me feeling in flow, refreshed and revitalised all year round.

You just need to look to Mother Nature for the cues here – throughout autumn we witness the physical transformation of trees, shedding what no longer serves them in preparation for the cooler months before regeneration and growth again in spring!
