Anyone who has participated in a class at Studio PP knows that our love for the foam roller runs deep. Truth is, the roam roller has transitioned it’s way from professional sports into everyday practice and is beneficial for all fitness levels and body types.
Foam rolling and trigger pointing are forms of myofacial release (massage!). By applying pressure to specific tight spots and trigger points throughout your body you can assist in muscle recovery and a return to healthy function.
Lead by Studio PP Founder Steph Prem and in-house practitioners Nicole of High Line Active Physiotherapy and Michelle of Integrated Podiatry Clinic, you will be guided through a series of exercises from head to toe.
Learn how to perform effective stretches and release exercises with a foam roller and trigger point ball to help combat a range of issues including injuries, inflammation, lower back pain, sore muscles, and improve cell recovery and blood circulation.
The skills learnt in this workshop can also help to improve flexibility, boost energy levels, help detoxify the body, and lower physical and mental stress.
